Rockstone Surfacing were contracted to supply and lay all surfacing to roads, car parks and footpaths associated with the construction of new Wickes DIY Superstores in Swindon and Chippenham.

Against stiff competition we were selected to complete the Swindon project based upon our ability to meet aggressive timescales, quality of pre-contract service and competitive pricing. As a direct result of the successful completion of the Swindon contract, our valued client awarded us a subsequent contract to complete a similar scheme in Chippenham.

 

 

Swindon Southern Development Area - Croft Road Junction

Rockstone Surfacing were contracted to supply and lay surfacing to roads and footpaths, as part of the initial contract, on one of the largest residential development projects to take place in Wiltshire in recent years.

The contract involved the laying of Asphalt and Bitumen Macadam surfaces associated with a major road junction and the first stage of the development’s roads. The work on existing roads necessitated working within a live traffic environment to extremely demanding timescales.
